June PRINKS – despite the cold, yet another great round!

Despite rugging up (great call on the scarf Kim Larochelle!), everywhere I looked, PRINKers were migrating towards heaters. Any closer and some people would have been hugging the only source of warmth – tempting trust me! However cold weather aside, thanks to all the fantastic people who rocked up to Ryans Bar last night for yet another great night of PRINKS.

There’s nothing better than having a warm drink and chatting with a friendly bunch of interesting people from all areas of the comms world. Advertising gurus, social media experts, editors (including our first poster Mr Hopkins – congrats on the great response!), website designers, business coaches, marketing and PR folk mingled and had a great chat until the Ryans’ staff moved the PRINKers on as they closed up shop for the night – always a good indicator of a successful round!

It was a great last PRINKS for Roge – well for a while anyway – as he gets ready to jet off around the world for 5 months. So I know he will kill me for doing so – but on the back of Roge’s last PRINKS for the year, I just wanted to say a quick thanks Roge for all the hard work you have done for PRINKS especially in the last few months working tirelessly to get the PRINKS blog up and running. Cheers to that!

So all in all – June PRINKS was yet another awesome round. It was great catching up with you all and meeting so many new faces. While Roge is venturing around the world, I’ll be here holding the PRINKS ranks and hope to see you all again at the next round. I’ll put out the date soon so watch this space. And for those who couldn’t make it, I look forward to catching up / meeting you at the next instalment!

Cheers,

Gem
